I’ve been dreaming about doing this ever since I was a teenager, and I’m finally doing it: I’m building a giant scale, radio-controlled, model airplane! Those of you that know me best, know that I don’t do things halfway (when I get it done :p ) and that I like a challenge.
This is the kind of hobby that’s great, because you get to discover a bit of history, that you normally wouldn’t, just like collecting coins, or numerous other hobbies out there.
I’ve selected the Consolidated PBY-5A “Catalina” as the plane to build.

Don’t ask me when it’s going to be built: I’ll just update this page, and you’ll see the progress. I’ll just say that I’m still in the planning stages, for now, because this is an unusually complicated construction.
